Another Friday night, another contribution to The Great Pumpkin Experiment of 2007. This week, we have Macadamia Nut White Chip Pumpkin Cookies. Before we get started, I would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone about the importance of…

Teamwork!

TEAMWORK!

We start our cookies by combining flour, cinnamon, cardamom, and baking soda in a bowl and mixing well. Yes, Todd, mixing well (ahem).

Over on the mixer side, throw some butter (softened), sugar, and brown sugar into the work bowl and mix.

We’re going to be adding our egg to that in just a minute, so why not crack it now? And also photograph the empty shell.

Ooops! Forgot to toast the nuts! Better do that now…

That egg looked awfully lonely in its buttery bowl. Maybe if his good friends vanilla and (weird looking) pumpkin came for a visit. Assuming Todd doesn’t eat the pumpkin first.

Now mix. Break. Mix.

Who do you trust more with the knife? Me or Todd?

Add some of the flour mixture. Mix. Add the rest. Mix. Add the chocolate (white). Add the nuts. Mix.

Do it all right, and you just might end up with:

COOKIES!

Verdict? I’m a fan, but Aaron thinks they’d be better without the nuts. Whatever.
