Hmph. Evidently a little bit of snow in March can stop the buses from running, or at least stop my training from happening. My first day of driving is now delayed until 8AM tomorrow, which was originally supposed to be 7AM tomorrow. Oh well.

So I think this evening might be a great sign of my geekdom or something like that. I'm getting so frustrated with a commercial software package I'm currently testing/using that I'm actually gaining the drive to write my own software to do the same thing, but better. And it's not even software that I actually ever need to use myself. I just need to be able to integrate with the back-end systems. But the front-end user interface just has me so irritated that I can't stand it. On the other hand, it does have some damn cool features. The software in question? Microsoft Retail Management System Store Operations (http://www.microsoft.com/BusinessSolutions/Retail/Retail%20Management/Modules/retail_so_overview.mspx).
Yay! I FINALLY get to drive a bus on Monday! I cannot wait! I'm kinda bummed, though, because it seems as though my behind-the-wheel training is still only going to be 4 hours per day, split with another person, which just isn't very much driving in my book. Oh well.
